1953 Ford Crestline. Built in July 1953. 4 door, 6 cyl. 3 speed, 13,600 original miles. Six cylinder OHV 3 speed column shift. Car is originally from New York where she was first used and then put in inside storage for about 35 years. In New York till 1991. Oklahoma 1991 till 2005 stored outside. Oklahoma to Kansas 2005 to 2009 stored outside. Then 2009 to 2015 in Missouri where she was lovingly restored to original. Now in Plainfield, IL. Sorry cannot get pictures of theundercarriage because my knees have gone south. When we got her I was under and there is no rust, no doubt she is a very low use car. Runs and drives like a brand new 1953. Everything is tight and like new. Doors close so easy and sound so solid it will astound you. The chromeis first class, the body has been repainted to the originalcolor but has never been rubbed out. Dash, door jams, under hood and trunk are original paint. Door panels are original, seat covers, rug and headliner are new. We have some garage rental receipts from New York circa 1957. Some receipts from therestoration.
