Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous, 1963 Ford Thunderbird coupe in perfect condition inside and out. This is one of the finest '63 Thunderbird coupes in the world. It has been restored thoroughly with in the region of $100,000 spent on it. World famous cosmic artist Jack Armstrong who is the nephew of astronaut Neil Armstrong previously owned this car. This beauty has been pampered as you can see by the photos. This car is as nice as they come. Absolutely everything lines up perfect and really is exceptional. This started out as a very nice original black plate California car from Palm Springs, CA before the complete restoration. This car is very rare and unique with its stunning Rose Beige on Black color combination and amazing equipment!
This car has very interesting history, possibly making it a piece of American history. Not verified by us but Palm Springs folklore has it that this car was delivered by Peter Lawford (JFKs brother in law) from Palm Springs Ford dealership to Bing Crosby's home, where a visiting President John F. Kennedy drove the car for its first 106 miles. President Kennedy stayed at Bing Crosby's home Sept 28th thru 29th 1963, less then 2 month later the president was murdered in Dallas, TX. This is thought to be the last vehicle, which President Kennedy actually drove before his assassination. The car was at one time for sale for One Million dollars and is mentioned in several JFK cars articles. I do not have any hard proof of this but the story has been with this car for many years. It anyone could come up with the documentation to prove 100% that this is in fact the story behind this car you would have a gold mine. Either way, this Thunderbird is a true showpiece and would be the highlight of any car collection or museum!!!

The exterior of this rare car is in gorgeous condition. This car is painted in stunning, " Rose Beige " and looks amazing paired with its gorgeous, all new correct interior. The paint is absolutely gorgeous and it looks amazing. It was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The body is laser straight and everything lines up beautifully. It is a completely rust free, life long California car. This car stops traffic with its beautiful paint and stunning chrome! All the bright work was redone and all the stainless was polished. It?s sitting on a set of stunning Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with white wall tires. It also has a fifth wire wheel as a spare. The car looks so good going down the road that people can't help but stop and stare!
Sitting in this Thunderbird, you'll feel like you've just entered a time warp. The correct black interior is all brand new and looks absolutely amazing. The dash and gauge cluster are like new with every piece inside of the car redone. To find a Thunderbird in this kind of condition is impossible unless you spend $100K to restore one to this quality, which was done here. The detail spent on the interior of this car is amazing. It has a high dollar hidden sound system in the car with a CD changer and Ipod dock. In the trunk it looks beautiful and is all redone factory correct with its original jack, wire wheel spare and looks amazing!
Mechanically, this Thunderbird runs and drives absolutely excellent. The original 390ci V8 purrs like a kitten and runs perfect. The motor and transmission were totally rebuilt when the car was restored. The complete suspension was rebuilt and it drives perfect. Under the hood is absolutely detailed to show condition and looks awesome. This car needs nothing. The factory air conditioning blows ice cold and works better then new with an updated compressor. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. This car always starts right up and it drives down the road with ease!
This is a rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on. With the amazing history that comes with this car makes it a true one of a kind piece of American history. The Thunderbird has always been an iconic car and is any collector's dream piece. It is obvious that this car has been extremely well taken care of and no expense was spared.
