1966 Ford F100 Single Cab Longbed 4x2 Collector's Dream Cars Presents... An exceptional single-cab long-bed 1966 Ford F100. This truck may be the final year of the fourth generation of F-Series trucks, but it single-handedly made the biggest mark in Ford pickup history. The 1966 Ford F100 forever altered the course of the genre, evolving from a single-use, work-only vehicle to a versatile machine capable of hauling cargo, yet comfortable and luxurious enough to serve as a daily driver. The introduction of Ford's Twin I-Beam independent front suspension for two-wheel drive pickups changed the F-Series for the remainder of the 20th Century. Take your time to sift through ALL of our photos of this incredible rust and damage free 1966 Ford F100 as we take you on an excursion in this iconic American collector truck. Collector's Dream Cars Specifications...
Photo Gallery... Below you will find over 150 high definition photographs of this F100. TAKE YOUR TIME and sift through all of these photographs. If you are using a desktop computer, simply click on a photo and you can freely view it in the big gallery. We take our time and show you EVERY INCH of our vehicles to ensure you of their condition. Exterior... The condition of this 1966 F100 is undoubtedly its most distinctive feature. The overall body styling is relatively standard, but finding one in this condition is unheard of. As you look down the side of this truck, you see no waves or dents on either side, and no dents around the edge of the bed. The front grille and bumper align properly and show only minor rock chips. The truck was professionally repainted in its factory color of Sahara Beige. The "FORD" on the tailgate was then custom painted in a Rangoon Red for accent. The wheels are original steel wheels with the original hub caps accented with Rangood Red as well. Both rearview mirrors, including the optional passenger side mirror, show no wear or damage. The bed of the truck is in immaculate condition inside and out, leading us to believe it was never actually used for work. Test Drive... The drive in this F100 is simply enjoyable. It starts right up every time and has no trouble idling even when cold. The steering and gear shifts are tight and precise. With a 4-Speed manual transmission, 1st gear is certainly a granny gear. Once you have the truck moving, you immediately feel safe with plenty of visibility due to the ride height and upright positioning of the seat. Looking over the hood is a simply nostalgic for every classic Ford F-Series fan. Interior... Ford designed the interior of the 1966 F100 with simplicity in mind. There is only one guage in the center of the dash behind the steering wheel containing all of the essentials: ALT, Fuel, Temp, Oil, Mileage, and Speedometer. The remainder of the dash is smooth and simple, lined with knobs for cabin control and lights. The original bench seat is a knitted vinyl in tan, matching the rest of the truck. It is comfortable and comes standard with seatbelts. Preparations... Upon acquisition of a classic truck of this calibre, our intial steps of preparation for market are through a visual and mechanical inspection. When it first arrived, we put it on the lift and powerwashed the undercarriage. This frees the vehicle of any grime and debris to help reveal any forseeable issues. Presumably an accident free vehicle, the underside of this truck shows no damage or rust. It needed miniscule refurbishing in order to prepare it for market. As you will see in over 150 photographs of this F100, this truck is in impeccable shape. Following the undercarriage inspection, this F100 went through our service department where our technicians performed a thorough mechanical inspection. During this inspection and confirmation of the previous owner, this is not the original engine for this truck. This F100 was originally built with a 352ci, and the 390ci engine was installed after. With only minor tweaks and a quick standard service, this F100 is ready to go. Finally, our preparations come to an end with cosmetic and driver-experience details. This F100 was carefully and thoroughly detailed. During this detailing process, the interior is inspected for functionality and quality. There are no rips or tears in the seat, and it adjusts and folds down flawlessly. The dash and buttons show minimal wear and tear. The single guage was closely inspected for functionallity and works flawlessly. When the vehicle first arrived, we noticed that the painted steel in and around the door jams looked dated, so we refurbished and painted that metal. Upon completion of the detailing process, this F100 is ready for market. VIN and Dataplate Breakdown F10YR 819068
Cheers Doug Williams Owner/Enthusiast 702-353-7500 Collector's Dream Cars Note from the Owner... I am a "used car dealer" but before that, I'm an automobile enthusiast. I love original, rare and high quality modified vintage and modern cars. Over the past 15 years I've been in business, I have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles as well. I specialize in and I am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners. With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a "dealership" like mine may be at a first glance. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner. First we do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and hope nothing escapes our methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly "right" will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about Collector's Dream Cars. Moreover, it allows us to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless we think it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction so you don't get a headache over the vehicle. After the vehicle is fully checked over and made whole at any level it needs to be, we researches its history, documents, documenting originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications, and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 200 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I've developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several days as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. We do Way more than just a cheap detail. Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles. Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operation as well. No "dealer, "? on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase that my vehicle is for real and what I say is an honest assessment. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact. I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it. If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offer is serious, you'll find me the most accommodating business partner you've ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or "what is my bottom line" I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually make an offer, I will happily quote you a liberal suggested retail price - a number we both know will not buy the car so, don't waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a "used car dealer.â€â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹ Collector's Dream Cars Terms of Sale... This vehicle is safely stored in our beautiful climate controlled showroom in Boulder City, Nevada.
