Description of 1965 Ford E-Series Van Econoline |
GLEEFULLY BOASTING THAT I CAN HAPPILY ANNOUNCE THAT YES! I AM A ONE OF A KIND, ONLY ONE IN THE U.S., SUPER UNIQUE, UBER RARE VAN! I am the one and only 1965 Ford 4x4 8-Door Econoline Van My name is “Agador” AKA “Frankenbeast” I was purchased on Craigs List From Arizona and transported to RI almost 4 years ago, where I sat waiting for parts. I have the following: 8-DOORS! Extremely Rare A few thousand miles on my growling 8-cylinder REBUILT 350 Chevy Edelbrock Engine. I sit way up high on my lifted 1970s Jeep 4x4 Chassis With beastly 33 -35-Inch Swamper Tires Proud of my new parts including: New Gas Tank New Fuel Line New Valves and Gaskets New Ignition Switch Newly Electrical Wiring Harness 12 Volt Installation Door Repairss New Locks and New Spare Keys Driver and Passenger Seat Belts Seat Installations Floor Repairs and Welding New Battery and Installation All lights work All doors open and close and lock All windows work Other Mechanical Repairs Completed— Replaced all the freeze plugs in the engine Requiring dropping the engine cradle Flushed all the rust scale out of the block Changing the coolant, Changed the oil/filter, Replaced the plugs, Replaced the main fuel line, Replaced the fuel sender/fuel tank pick-up, Repaired the horn, Removed and replaced the instrument cluster to repair the fuel gauge, Replaced the heater core, Freed up the heater box controls, and cleaned the rims and chrome as best we can. Quite a lot of work and several hundred dollars in parts to date. I still need suspension work on the front end. I have a transmission leak and The torque converter cover is missing and needs to be replaced. I also need an emergency brake to be road legal And my Speedometer does not work. Exterior, frame and chassis are dry and clean with minimal surface rust only on my roof. I spent my entire life in the desert! Interior is stripped. Rubber Lined middle and rear areas. Extremely comfortable Cloth Aerostar Front Seats. Industrial Side Mirrors. AUTOMATIC Transmission Custom wooden console sitting in front area underneath dash board. Yes, I am registered and insured. My owner found another vehicle she fell in love with, so I must go onto my next adventure! |
