Up for auction is my 1993 Cobra #3971, Vibrant Red, Grey Leather interior. I purchased this car in February of this year from I believe was the 3rd owner. This car was originally purchased in NY which is why it has the million mile speedometer with the extra digit. The engine has been freshened and the only modification is an E-303 cam and a new oil pump with chromoly drive. The heads are the original cast iron GT-40s with MLS head gaskets and ARP bolts and on top is a set of 1.72 Crane roller rockers . The transmission was rebuilt with new synchros and the Pro 5.0 shifts it like butter. The driveshaft is aluminum and has new u-joints and was professionally balanced. The clutch is a new King Cobra bolted to a Ford Racing Billet flywheel. Motor mounts and trans mounts are new. It has a vintage set of Ford Motorsport Stainless shorty headers with a 2 cat BBK H-pipe into 2.5" Flowmasters into 2.5" polished stainless tailpipes. The front tires Sumitomo (245-45) have 4000 miles on them and the rears Sumitomo (275-40) have maybe 8000 but still have plenty of tread. The original OEM wheels were chromed early in their life and it is starting to peel in some places but isnt noticeable until you are up close. There are very few flaws in the paint, the nose doesnt match perfectly as you can barely tell in the pics, there are two small dents in the roof that I couldnt even get a good picture of and there is a small chip under the passenger side Cobra snake thats hardly noticeable. Fog lights have been rewired with a relay which allows them to function separate from the other lights and they have Nokya yellow bulbs. The headlights which are new have a HID conversion and they are very bright for Fox lights. This car has been repainted due to a minor fender bender, the hood, nose and passenger fender are replacements but all the other panels still have the VIN stickers. The interior is in great shape, it has a new headliner and sunroof weatherstripping. The driver seat shows its age but there are no rips or tears anywhere in the front or rear seats. The console has been modified for a cup holder where the original ashtray was. The radio was upgraded long ago and an amp is mounted on the back of the rear seat. It sounds good enough but could easily be changed back to stock if desired. The suspension is very compliant and consists of an Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs with Bilstein HD shocks and struts. The rear control arms have been replaced with Factory Five Racing upper and lowers with polyurethane bushings. The rear end is the stock 8.8 with 3.73 gears and a Ford Racing finned aluminum cover which comes on the new mustangs. I had the alignment done at which time they installed new tie rod ends and ball joints ($1000). This is a very nice riding car which I have driven over 12 hours at a clip with no ill effects. The fuel pump has been upgraded to a Walbro 340 lph which would support lots of power should you ever want to add a supercharger. The alternator has been upgraded to a 3G so you dont need to worry about low charging at idle or with the AC on. The AC works but could probably use a recharge to be super cool. All hoses, belts, battery, gaskets and fluids have been changed from front to rear, the oil has just been changed. Everything works as it should, it has a power driver seat, all gauges work properly, it stays cool in traffic with the stock 195 thermostat and oversized radiator. I have the SVT certificate, 93 Cobra sales brochure still in the envelope, and the title as it was transferred to me. I will be providing a bill of sale with the purchase but you will also get the title I have and all the receipts for everything I did to the car since I have had it. I just had it professionally detailed and it will not be driven until the next owner buys it. This car needs nothing, I have gone through it front to rear and repaired or replaced anything I felt needed attention. I wouldnt hesitate to drive cross country in it since I already did on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year. This is a great car, the nicest Foxbody I have ever had, I will regret selling it but I am on to other projects. I will be listing it locally on craig's list so you can check it out there if you like. I will assist with shipping but at the buyers expense and could possibly deliver within a couple hour ride once paid in full. Thanks for looking at my ad and feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding.
