Ford unveiled the Galaxie in 1959 and affectionately named this full size car Galaxie to gain excitement surrounding the Space Race of the time. To look at quality construction of this car it could have passed as a luxury car of the time. This car looks great with the Chestnut metallic paint with nicely contrasted ivory and gold interior.

One turn of the key and the period correct V8 purrs to life and sounds fantastic. Mated to that solid engine is a 3-speed column shift transmission that is really a blast from the past. The Ford "Spinner" Hubcaps really show off the nostalgic look of this classic. The round taillights were rather futuristic for the time and the front fascia, side trim and rear trim that was once finished in stainless steel has now been plated in a dark bronze that looks great against the dark chestnut metallic paint.
