THIS IS A 1937 FORD SERIES 73 HALF TON PICK UP. THE ORIGINAL DRIVE TRAIN HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A SBC MOTOR WITH STOCK HEADS ANS A 4 BBL HOLLEY CARB MATED TO A MUNCY M20 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL IS FROM 1956 CORVETTE. THERE ARE WILWOOD DISC BRAKES ON ALL 4 WHEELS. IT HAS AMERICAN TORQUE THRUST WHEELS WITH BF GOODRICH TIRES. THERE WAS A FRAME OFF RESTORATION DONE SEVERAL YEARS AGO. THE BODY WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL AND PAINTED. THE FIBERGLASS FENDERS WERE IN GOOD CONDITION, SO THEY WERE REUSED. NEW RUNNING BOARDS AND A NEW HOOD WERE PURCHASED FOR THE RESTORATION. THE BED WOOD WAS IN GOOD CONDITION SO IT WAS STRIPPED AND REFINISHED. WHILE THE BODY WAS OFF, THE DRIVE TRAIN WAS REMOVED FROM THE FRAME, WHICH WAS THEN CLEANED AND REPAINTED. ALL OF THE BRAKE AND FUEL LINES WERE REPLACED. THE FRONT AND REAR SHOCKS WERE REPLACED. THE REAR SPRINGS WERE RE-ARCHED AND ONE LEAF ADDED. THE ENGINE WAS DISASSEMBLED, CLEANED, REPAINTED AND RESEALED. THE WILWOOD BRAKES, ROTORS,BRAKE AND CLUTCH MASTERSWERE ALSO REPLACED.THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12 VOLTS. THE WIPERSHAVE BEEN CONVERTED TO 12V, A NEW WIRING HARNESS WAS MADE, NEW FRONT AND REARMARKER LAMPS WERE INSTALLED INCORPORATING TURN SIGNALS. THERE IS A AM/FM IPOD/MP3 CAPABLE RADIO IN THE GLOVE BOX. THE TRUCK WAS REBUILT FOR A LONG TIME OWNER WHO PREFERRED TO KEEP THE RESTORATION OLD SCHOOL. THIS TRUCK IS NOT A SHOW TRUCK. IT WAS A DAILY DRIVER, SO IT IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF WEAR AND TEAR. BUT WITH ITS V8 ENGINE, POWER STEERING, POWER DISC BRAKES AND RADIAL TIRES, IT IS A SWEET DRIVER. THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AS IS .
