Description of 1947 Ford Other Pickups N/A |
***MAKE OFFER AND END LISTING EARLY, IT MAY NOT LAST DURATION OF LISTING*** Up for auction is a 1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup. This truck is an excellent driver quality classic with a classic look. This truck was recently purchased out of Yulee, FL and I have some old beaten up registration cards from the 60’s to the 90’s showing the truck resided in Kenova, WV. This is a very solid truck, on top and underneath. It does run and drive, stops good. All basic lighting works as it should. The horn works. The floors have had repairs at one time, not the most professional job as I have pictured on the passenger side. The grill & headlight surrounds do show light surface rusting. The truck is a good driver, not a new car that you want to jump in and drive home back to West Virginia. Perfect little cruiser for local jaunts. It does have a pretty loud belt squeal which I’m not sure why. The shifter ball needs to be replaced and is just siting on top of the shifter. The truck shifts ok and drives as you would expect a 47’ truck to drive. The windows roll up and down, free of any cracks. The bottoms of the doors are in good shape. The paint is a great 5 footer, not perfect and it shows some age in places; but overall it looks really nice and is very shiny. As I mention the truck is an excellent driver, tires are bias ply correct to the year. Please ask questions and feel free to come and inspect. |
