NO RESERVE! Back in 1947 a Famous Entrepreneur, Earl Madman Muntz, commissioned 3 new Kaiser/Frazer sedans to be built into pickups, to show Henry Kaiser the possibility of producing a new pickup to the market. I have a copy of a letter to Mr Kaiser that asks him if he thought it was a good idea. The idea didn't make production but 2 of the 3 concepts are known to exist today, this being the first of the 3 built and the other known truck is in the ACAA museum in PA. They say Earl Madman Muntz made millions but also lost millions in his endeavors, one being producing these trucks. Madman was the largest Kaiser/Frazer Dealer in the United States, first to produced a TV for under $100 (even named is daughter "TV"), invented the 4 track and 8 track tape decks (sold that company to Lear Jet), Produced a convertible sports car from a race car mold in 1952-53 before the corvette (but lost a million is this venture also), was working on the cell phone before he died in the early eighty's, plus many other million dollar adventures. This is a complete original survivor (except wheels)Solid no rust through (light surface rust)Engine is free and can be turned by hand (I believe it will start with a little work) I would probably just get this truck running and leave original because they are "only original once"The other survivor is a completely refurbished Resto Mod, which makes this truck the only Original survivor.
