I am selling my 1929 ford model A coupster. this car started out as a coupe and the top has been cut off. the body is pretty solid. some rust in the trunk pan (see pic.). engine is a mid 1940's flathead V8 that has been converted to a later, side distributor and has later model heads. very cool D&S aluminum intake and dual carbs. I was told the engine was recently re-built when I bought it and put it in the car. it was in a vintage race / show car (not raced, just paraded). it runs like it has a decent cam in it......very strong and choppy. no smoke or leaks but I really don't know much more about the engine. the transmission is a 1939 ford toploader 3 speed. the brake and clutch pedals are stock model A ford. the torque tube and rear are stock model A ford. the front and rear wishbones are stock model A ford (not split), the brakes are stock model A ford mechanical drum brakes. the car runs, drives, stops, headlights and tail light work. I havethe windshield for the car that I cut off and it could easily be welded back on to the body if you want to run a windshield.stock model A gas tank is in good condition and the car runs on a electric fuel pump mounted on the firewall. radiator is a brand new aluminum radiator. electric system is 12 volt (battery in trunk) with a alternator. the doors do latch but I have deadbolts added to them so they don't pop open when going over bumps. there is no title for the car. sold with a bill of sale only. I have had very good luck in Delaware using a title service like "the title man" in new York which costs about $300. your state may be different. I am in Wilmington, Delaware -right off of interstate 95 for easy pick up and may be able to deliver for a fee within a reasonable distance. buyer arranges for and pays for all shipping costs.
