Description of 1963 Ford Fairlane Stationwagon |
Here is a link to a youtube video of the car (make sure to see the related links that are posted as well for additional videos of car running and driving)https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=Q9wniSRQEvUI am listing this beautiful original paint surf wagon for my buddy Phil. Words cannot describe how cool this car is and how well it has been taken care of. If you're looking for a surf wagon. nbsp;weekend cruiser. daily driver. shop truck/car. or to just add to your collection you don't want to miss this one. The paint is original as is the power train. The OD tranny works and cruises right along with the new cars at 70mph and will keep pulling with power up into the 80s if needed. Runs and drive's smooth with no reliability issues noted at all. It even has working A/C. The car has the perfect amount of patina with a new looking interior. No rust in the car at all except for a few small pin holes in the bottom of the tailgate and a few more in the left rear quarter panel. It has a few small dings but is very very straight. The car has spent it's whole life in California and has been well cared for. Vehicle is registered and insured and still has it's original California black plates. The car is for sale locally we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Phil can be contacted directly by phone to set an appointment to view and drive the car or answer any questions. (951) 905-2923See Phil's description below:"1963 Ford Fairlane Ranch Wagon with the factory 260 V-8 and 3 on the tree. with the overdrive. The wagon runs and drives excellent as it did in 1963. It will cruise at 70MPH down the freeway no problem. It is about as original and unmolested as you will find. The paint is original and has slight patina. There is a couple of touch ups that blend and are not noticeable. The am radio works and the original Monitor Mark IV A/C blows ice cold. but just recently developed a personality and has been popping the breaker. The heater and defroster are all in excellent working order as well as the fan. It also supports the rare 3rd row seat. As the photos show the interior (seats. door panels. rubber floor mats and headliner) are all in very good condition. The mileage appears to be correct . s I bought it from the second owner and has spent its entire life in California. it is very dry and virtually rust free. " Thanks again. hil |
