Description of 1968 Ford Fairlane 500

This will be filled in soon. So much to list. Keep checking back!

I have owned this car for 35 years (second) owner.

The body is in great shape floor pans never replaced, torque boxes never replaced all are just as they left the factory. The only rust is what you see in the pictures.

Interior has been completely redone, sound deadener in the floor. Headliner needs replaced as well as the sail panels. I have new ones and they go with the car. The back seat is original 1968 and has never been recovered.

Rear end is original factory 8” 3:25 gears, posi-traction (Just Rear ends Reno NV), Currie axles (28 spline)

Cal-Track traction bars. Transmission is the original 1968 C-4 but has been rebuilt and shift kit added. Front suspension has been completely replaced, and when I say replaced I mean every part possible.

The motor is a 302 CI which has been stroked and bored to a 347 CI Short block was built by John Njissen of Apple Valley CA. Approximately 80 miles on the motor

World Products heads 2.02/1.60 Valves, 1.550 triple springs screw in studs 7/16 Harland Sharpe roller rockers and stud girdles. Lunati Voodoo cam. Demon carb (750 CFM) all braided hoses which were made by me. Oil Filter is Pure Power Filter to never be replaced just cleaned that alone was 200 dollars. New tires and rims with less than 40 mile on them. Headers are Stan’s Headers ceramic coated, exhaust is Flow master.

Ignition system is MSD, wires, distributor, and 6AL box with rev limiter. Autometer gauges, volts, oil pressure, and transmission temp.

I have all parts to complete this restoration, some still on the original OEM boxes. Everything goes with the car of course.

Any questions feel free to ask.
