I inherited my Uncle's 1966 High Performance 289 Mustange coupe. What I know about the car, some of these facts may sound made up or a lie. My uncle was a eccentric person that never moved out of his parents house.-original interior in great shape-original engine, clutch, transmission. Matching numbers-always garage kept-he bought it in 1966 it was his first car.-he never hotroded it because he thought it would damage the car.-mostly city driving-only driven from home to family owned work-when he did oil changes he drained the oil for a day to make sure there was no dirty oil left in the car.-last time it was driven was in 2007- when he passes away 2 years ago I inherited it.-drum brakes were locked up, and no battery-ive had it for 2 years-i bought a new battery tray and new gas tank but havent installed it.-44.5k original miles 0n the original engine-engine never opened-original glass-never been wrecked-was repainted same color in 1980s because their cat in the garage scrathed the door from jumpimg on top of the car.-dash, headliner, seats great condition in my opinion-its the high out put 289 4 barrel carb engine-doors line up and close perfect- I have the keys-its been stored in my garage-he had undercoating applied under the car when he bought it, so no rusted out anything-any questions just ask.-call 832 877 2020 Brian-I will not ship car, owner must come to me to inspect car in person. Then the owner can ship it.-cash or cashiers check only-title must be transfered in new owners name
