Description of 1936 Ford Other Pickups |
Thanks for looking at my Auction! Please read thru the complete listing and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me BEFORE you bid. THANKS. Selling my Pre-War 1936 Ford Pickup. I spent years hunting down an all metal 35 or 36 Ford Pickup. Seemed all I could find was Rat Rods, Hot Rods along with a mix and/or variety of alterations to a stock body line and drive train. I like all that stuff too! Just wanted a pre-war more! Yeah sure this could be cut up and dropped to the ground and made into something different. It has become so hard to find these trucks in the condition I hope whoever buys it sees that same vision. Better yet, take the time to see if you can find one. This truck would make a great company truck with its logo on the door for sure! Just can’t duplicate that engine starting sound of an 80 plus year old vehicle. Cool truck to run down to the closest Donut Derelicts in your area. About the Truck: The truck has a 221 CI V8 Flat Head with a 3 speed manual transmission. All the gauges work and runs cool. I just put Michelin radial tires and tubes on all four corners less than 200 miles ago. Also a new So Cal Forged 4” drop axle, King Pin’s and Bushing’s. Removed the old steering box and put in a Vega style steering box to make it steer like it should with all new links and steering arms. I also added a new Shock system up front. Juice brakes on all four corner’s coming from a new dual feed Master Cylinder with Residual Pressure Valves on both Front and Rear separate systems. All new hard lines properly fitted with new end hoses mated to new Wheel Cylinders. Has a new Stromberg 97 carb and the previous owner told me he had the electronic ignition system installed in the distributor along with a rebuilt starter and generator. Condition? I call it a 20 footer! My buddies call it max a 10 footer some have even said 5 footer? This is not a show truck! It’s very nice but has some paint chips on the bed rails and a few other flaws. The right side step has a slight dent in it (see Pic’s) Not sure of the color? I think its Garnet Maroon with Black. Truck is in my name and has current registration. Actual total mileage on this 81 year old vehicle is an unknown! Currently it shows close to 79,xxx per the odometer. If you bid on this auction your bid is considered your agreement to purchase. Vehicle will be released once payment has been completed and funds have fully transferred into my hands. In the event this vehicle needs to be shipped? The winning bidder pays for all costs related to shipping/moving/insuring of the vehicle. I am more than happy to help work with your shipper. Truck must be picked up no more than 7 days after completion of sale. |
