Description of 1972 Ford Mustang MACH 1 |
This is a beautifully done restomod of a 1972 Mustang Mach 1. I spent $106,000 restoring this machine and I completely understand I will not get that back out of it. The restoration was completed by Reisinger Custom Rebuilding in Evansville, Indiana. The 351 Cleveland was rebuilt by Scott's Performance Engine Center (70% of his work is racing engines.) The C6 transmission was rebuilt by Brinkman's Auto Repair -- owner Mark is a long-time employee of Jasper Engines and Transmissions. Reisinger put in a 9" rear end. I had Reisinger put Wilwood master cylinder and disc brakes all the way around. I have driven it about 1,500 miles since the restoration. Reisinger added after-factory air. It has a high-performance aluminum radiator by Performance Rod and Custom. I had a $7,500 leather interior put in. There is a pioneer tuner with two amplifiers driving 2 Power Bass sub-woofers and two 6x9 Hertz rear-deck speakers. Numbers do NOT match. This baby is beautiful. I entered it in one show and won Top 30 Cars Pre-2000. Why am I selling? This thing needs someone who has time to baby it and put it into some shows. I don't have the time with all of my business interests and charitable work. I have 8 vehicles with only 4 drivers in the family. I want to thin the herd a bit and focus more of my pleasure driving time driving my Porsche Cayman and my tricked-out Jeep. |
