1979 FORD BRONCO CUSTOM 400 4 SPEED 4x4 SURVIVOR

FOR SALE is a 1979 FORD BRONCO. Original 400ci engine with 4spd transmission. Blackexterior with red interior.

Non-original high back front seats that were dyed to match rear along with original center console. Seats are weathered and some stitching is weak on original rear seat. Floor mat was removed and discarded. Buyer can decide direction for interior or leave as is. All lights and gauges work except the temp gauge that has not been addressed . Pyrometer indicates normal 180 degree running temp. Dealer installed sunroof in good shape but likely needs seal.Folderof old receipts.

Body and paint is good condition but not perfect.Receipt indicatesit was repainted in 1990. There are some dings and small rust issues- see pictures. Roof of cab and top need to be repainted.Body/undercarriage was Ziebarted in 1992. Floor pans patched each side in front. Factory Quad-Shocks. Newer rear driveshaft. New front oem brake lines. All glass is great. Sealed surface rust areas of floor with POR15. Power rear window works from tailgate key switch and dash switch. Stored inside most of it's life.

Has air conditioning but likely needs charging- it's all there and intact.

Engine is original and untouched other than new rod/main bearings and oil pump installedfor preventive maintenance-engine was not removed. Sounds great, crank looked great, oil is clear and pressure is good. Check picture of dash gauges- engine is running in picture. New battery.

Dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers- sounds good but not too loud.

New tires/wheels purchased and installed in 01/17 with stainless steel center caps and new lug nuts. Kenda Klever AT 33x12.50x15 tires with American Racing AR61 15x10 wheels. <100 miles.

Push bar/front winch insert mount was removed but is included with sale.

This Bronco is a lot of fun as is or is an awesome start to a restoration.
