1929 FORD MODEL A TUDOR VINTAGE HOT ROD / RACE CAR Featured in Hot Rod Magazine April 2017 as the "Centerfold" Feature car. Built between 1960-1965 for street and strip racing, from a rust free, genuine Henry Ford Tudor Sedan body with NOS fenders. Custom candy blue paint was applied in 1965. Interior is black diamond tuck and roll with competition roll bar. Instrumentation is by Stewart Warner. Car rolls on the original American Racing Magnesium 5 spoke wheels with M&H Racemaster Piecrust Slicks. Fuel Tank is a genuine Moon Part. Engine is a 440CI. RAISED BLOCK Chrysler V8. It has domes pistons, solid lifter camshaft, adjustable roller rockers, port and polished Stage V Cylinder Heads. Cross Ram Intake with dual 600cfm Holley carbs. Dual Point Distributor and Home built headers. Transmission is a heavy duty synchronized 3- speed by Chrysler that is genuine max wedge as is the Hurst Shifter with handle turned backwards for clearance. Front suspension is a 40 Ford I-beam Axle with split wishbones and 48 Ford brakes. Rear end is a 57-64 Olds/Pontiac Posi-Traction with 4-56 gears and a ladder bar suspension.
