1932 Ford 5 window Coupe. Professionally built from the ground up about 10 years ago. Started with a TCI Chassis fully boxed and tig welded. Ford 9" rear end with chrome 4 bar and coil overs. Front end is a Superbell dropped I Beam axle with chromed hairpins and disc brakes. Unisteer rack and pinion steering. Body is a top of the Line "Downs Manufacturing" with 3" chop. Frame was powdercoated Hotrod Red and body was painted Satin Black with 50's style pinstriping. Frame is still excellent but the body is a little faded and some of the paint around the rear window has bubbled up as shown in the pictures. I think the Patina adds to the overall great look of this car. a rebuilt 8ba Flathead with dual 97 Stromburgs, Offenhauser polished heads, electronic ignition, and custom headers with magnaflow stainless mufflers. A special adapter was used to mate the engine to a rebuilt and upgraded C4 automatic transmission. Interior is very comfortable although not a high end job. Very reminiscent of a true 1950's Hotrod interior. Comfort features include a tilt ididit column, power windows, and power door poppers. Classic instrument gauges and lokar floor shift. All interior glass is smoked not tinted. High end Dry Cell Odyssey battery with trickle charger. This Rod is no Trailer Queen, its had 13,000 reliable miles on the car since built and has never let me down. Titled as a 1932 Ford and has been inspected and approved in California. ALL BUILD RECEIPTS accompany car. Ready to enjoy!
