Description of 1932 Ford B roadster |
up for sale is this 1932 ford hot rod roadster, all steel, done by Gene Winfield in 1963. powered by a ford flat head with ardun (original not repops) heads, with a very early scot supercharger. 3 speed ford trans, halibrand quick change rear end. gene re-painted the car for me in 2004-5, also installed a new interior to match that of the car as it appeared in the April, 1964 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. The car underneath is all original, and has been cleaned by not messed with. Great traditional hot rod. go to Kustomrama. com's website, and search for "the lew thompson roadster" for detailed history of this car, with photos of me and Gene Winfield in his paint booth right before he re-painted the car. I have all receipts from Gene, and Don Ferguson who rebuilt the flat head for me in the mid 2000's. It dyno'ed over 300 horsepower. Dyno sheets come with the car. SCTA This car is a very good driver condition car. It is NOT a trailer queen, and is probably one of the most original hot rods out there. there is not enough space here to provide details. the car is in the Gene Winfield Book in the Pete Hischier chapter. call 707-473-0609 or send ebay message to me for more information. FULLY documented. 4 owner car since the 1950s. |
