Description of 1957 Ford Other

Here is a Kustom 1957 Ford Ranch Wagon painted by the legendary Gene Winfield. This wagon under went a frame off custom build that was just completed a few months ago. It is featured on the Cover of the current edition of Traditional Rod & Kulture Magazine. It took Best Kustom & Best Wagon at BilletProof in Antioch. CA. and 2nd place in it’s class at Sacramento Autorama. Features/Overview:-Rebuilt 302-Rebuilt C4 Transmission -Power Disk Brake -Factory Power steering-Rebuilt Reareand- Accuair E-Level Suspension-Custom Upholstery -All New Glass -All Stainless has been Restored and Polished-Bumpers Smoothed and Re-Chromed -Grill and all Interior Chrome was re-plated-Hardware was all Nickel Plated -All Rubber and Accessories were replaced-House of Kolor Paint exclusivelyI’ve invested over 100k building this wagon. Here is a brief description of what was done. Body was pulled down to bare metal and every body seam was smoothed out. Headlights are frenced and headlight eyelids are molded to the body. Front cowl is smoothed in & the stone guard in molded in. Door handles & locks are shaved as well as the rear tail gate. All are wired up with solenoids that are controlled with a key fab. Rear taillights are frenched in as well. The Firewall and engine compartment was completely smoothed out then body worked and painted before being pinstriped. All of the door jams and lift gate jams were body worked just like the body. The car was blocked more times than I can count. After all of the body work was done the car was bagged with a 4-link in the back. Custom bag mounts. front control arms. rear bag mounts. shock brackets were designed and fabricated. Then an Accuair E-level management system was installed with accuair ride sensors. The suspension is a work or art and it rides like a dream. The Rear floor was cut and moved up and the rear seat still folds down. The frame and all parts were powder coated prior to the body being rejoined to the body. It was a huge honor to have the King of Kustom’s put one of his classic Winfield fade paintjobs on this wagon. The body fades from black to cinnamon to gold to white it’s truly a work of art! Gene only used House of Kolor paint put the perfect amount of flake and pearl on this thing photos just don’t do this car justice! All new Glass and Upholstery was installed by Tri-Valley auto glass. The Upholstery is immaculate down to the NOS silver piping throughout. Built in guitar amp in the back panel for jamming at the beach. Tucked under the body is a set of Firestone G70 Bias Ply tires and a set of 1950 Oldsmobile Hubcaps. Custom exhaust by Coffin Muffler. Honestly there is too much to list on this car!!! I hope the pictures do it justice and please fell free to ask me any questions. Buyer arranges transport at own expense after sale. Thanks. Eli 209-613-6702
