Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1

This is an all numbers matching. all original 1969 Mustang Fastback 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1. Check out the Marti Report which shows this is a one-of-a-kind car!!! If you are looking for a project car that will have terrific value after the restoration then here's a great investment. I am selling this car because I already have four other project cars going and need cash to put into those cars. I bought this car about three years ago and at that time the tranny. hood and some other components were already out of the car. The car is in need of a complete ground up restoration. The previous owner let his kid start working on the car though he'd never had any experience with body work and thus he did a super crappy job. So. if you are planning to tear this thing down to the ground and put it back together properly then this is what you're looking for. The C6 automatic transmission has been rebuilt by a professional shop and I can give you their contact info if you'd like. The 428 CJ engine has been rebuilt by a professional shop that specializes in racing engines and building engines from the ground up for high end street rods. Both tranny and engine are out of car. At this point I believe that nearly all of the car is in tact and I haven't found anything missing. I do have a stash of extra 1969 mustang parts if you have interest as I am building another at this time. Pics of the stash are included. Interior needs replaced or reworked but most everything is there. Rear quarters. or at least the lower portions. will need replaced. I believe that the rest of the metal on the car can remain as long as you are halfway decent with body work. I have priced this car too low in my opinion and the opinion of some car enthusiasts I have spoken with. For that reason i'll actually be a bit picky on choosing a home for this. This car is a fantastic part of Americana and rare car that needs to be treated in a particular fashion. This car deserves to be taken completely apart down to the last nut and bolt and be rebuilt with precision and care. Then you will have something of terrific value and worth. NOTE:Engine is on an engine stand and i'll throw in the stand at no cost if you want it. NOTE: I have many more photos of underbody. rails. trunk. vin tags but have reached my limit of photos with Ebay
