Description of 1928 Ford Model A Tudor |
WOW! Spectacular!! What a find!!! Fully restored 1928 Model A Ford Tudor Sedan. We have had the car for two years. We bought the car from a local man who shared that he patiently restored the vehicle with a bumper to bumper frame off restoration. He was also going to rebuild the motor but after removing the head realized the motor didn't need rebuilding so he reinstalled the head with a new head gasket. Everything was repainted and the car was reasembled with the help of a local Model A club member. The former owner took pride in his work. The car won a blue ribbon at a local show. We have driven the car many times and have had no problems with it. It hasn't smoked, knocked, leaked oil, or overheated. People are always excited to see the car drive by and will ask many questions when we stop somewhere. A prime example of americana and american history. The ah-ooo-ga horn brings many waves, smiles, and lots of enthusiasm. An exciting car to drive and easy to take down the road. I stopped at a local high school for the pictures posted with this listing. The car just sparkles and shines in the sun and shows very well. The car starts easily and drives down the road with ease and style. It's a great car and fun to drive. The engine is strong and runs as it was designed to run. The previous owner installed a new water pump, carburator, and six volt alternator. The entire car was also rewired during the restoraton. The alternator is a positive upgrade because it preserves the six volt system while providing a stronger battery charge and brighter lights. The buy it now price is very reasonable and below the average retail book value. We must stress again that this is a very sound car. It has no known mechanical problems. It likes to go down the road and bring joy to any passerby. We hate to sell it as we have enjoyed it immensely. We really do admire this car. We know the next owner will be excited to own this 1928 Model A beauty. This fabulous Model A is sold "as is". We are flexible on the price. The car is always kept in the garage when not being driven down the road. Ask any questions and make an offer. |
