Description of 1986 Ford Mustang SVO

The time has come for me to part with my beloved SVO. The SVO was a milestone for Ford, and I was drawn to it because of its extensive use of technology and futuristic ideas. These cars are highly sought after by collectors like myself due to their uniqueness, and can be considered the grandfather of all modern special vehicles team Fords such as the Cobra, GT350 and GT500. I purchased the car from the second owner of the vehicle, who was a dentist and took remarkable care of it. The car is in great shape, and I would trust it to drive anywhere. Recently it made the trip up to the Bay Area from its long time home of San Luis Obispo. The car is a very rare factory Bi-Wing Delete car (1 of ~200), which makes it one of the rarest SVOs on the road.
Since owning the car, I have
-Repaired/checked the Vacuum line system
-Replaced Power Steering rack (lifetime warranty) (5 miles)
-Replaced Tie Rod Ends (MOOG brand, highest quality) (5 miles)
-Fresh Alignment (5 Miles)
-Installed New Tires (Firestone FR710 on rear, Michelin Energy Saver A/S on front)
-Installed New chrome extended lug nuts
-Refreshed and repainted all trim with correct SEM Paint
-Installed New seat belts and dash pad-Installed New Carpet
-Touched up paint and painted inner scoop area with POR-15
Car is 100% mechanically sound, and the boost builds and regulates as it should. The car is in amazing shape considered the age as well. The only known problems with the car are as follows:
-A/C does not work
-Windows take some encouragement to roll up if rolled down all the way
-Cooling fan is wired to a switch under the dash rather than a thermostat
-Paint has been touched up, but is not in perfect shape. Not faded, but the wear makes it driver quality.-There is a small tear on the driver's bolster, but aside from that the interior is immaculate.

-Extra stock lug nuts

The car will come with all original manuals and documentation from its original purchase at Hysen-Johnson Ford in San Luis Obispo CA down to the salesman's business card and original ownercard. It will also come with a Marti Report and service records from the first ~7 years of ownership. Current dash mileage shows 33,000, but I expect the odometer to have rolled over. The car is in excellent condition, with an immaculate underside with no rust whatsoever and an amazingly clean interior. The original Koni red shocks still perform perfectly and are not blown. Balljoints are also in great shape.
