Description of 1956 Ford F-100 |
Understand upfront that this is a BIG PROJECT. I can't honestly call it a truck; it's a cab, chassis, and a lot of parts. Here are a few details: This is a true 1956 Big Window cab, not a fake. It has rust in the typical places; drip rails, cab corners, floorboards. The chassis has been modified with a Volare front suspension. It all needs cleaning (and probably replacement of bushings, etc.) but the work appears to have been done correctly. Someone apparently intended to make a tilt front out of the front-end sheet metal since the parts were tack-welded together. They have since been separated. The front fenders are there, but it might be easier to replace rather than repair them. There is nothing in the interior except the gas tank. There is no bed (or any bed parts). The project comes with the following: Two additional doors An extra hood New floor panels (front and rear) Two sets of door repair panels (inner and outer) New transmission cover Battery hole cover with gasket Radiator core support with installation kit Cab-to-frame bolt and pad/bushing kits with mounting cups Stainless steel front fender braces Hood bumper kit L/H rear cab corner Grille air deflector Left rear fender (with spare tire well; includes mount for side-mounted spare) Stainless steel windshield trim 302 V8 with C4 transmission from a 1979 Ford truck Ford nine-inch rear As you can see, there are a lot of parts to get you started, but again, this is a major project. If you're familiar with this era F-100, and have the necessary skills (or know someone who does), you'll probably be okay. And you already know that just about everything you need for these trucks is available. Please note that THERE IS NO TITLE for this project. Ebay required that I select one of their options. I will provide a Bill of Sale. I am not able to separate any parts of this project; the winning bidder gets it all. I estimate that there is over $4,000 (depending on how you value the cab) worth of bits and pieces here; my reserve is below that figure. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, and thanks for looking! Also some shots of the repair panels for the floor. On Feb-08-18 at 14:29:30 PST, seller added the following information: |
