Description of 1986 Ford Mustang GT |
I purchased this vehicle locally a few months ago with the idea of making it a nice little project. I have another car that I am working on and need to invest time and funds into that so I am letting this car go. Its a 1986 Mustang GT with TTOP. nbsp; The car is unmolested with zero mechanical modsautomatic transmission. nbsp;power locks and windows. AC - all the wiring and parts are there but the system appears to not be chargedRear DefrosterInterior is in great shape I would say almost perfect shapeThe dash cluster has been replaced so I dont know the exact mileage of the car (I put 100. 00 miles but I really dont have any clue)The car drives great. shifts are crisp. Brakes are in good shapeCar drives straightI did have subframe connectors put on the carRear hatch release in the glovebox doesnt work not sure why. The information display still worksThere is a small dent right behind the drivers door. It was there when I bought it. No signs of any accidents that I can see or know about. The car was from what I was told originally from Washington State. The TTops dont appear to leak and I have driven the car with them on and off. The window seals are a bit old and need replacing. So the windows stick a little on the way down. But they do go down and back up without issueIt is pretty hard to find a mustang that has not been touched let alone a T TOP car with automatic in it. The car was silver and had the clear coat coming off which looked terrible. So I did a quick sanding a priming of the car. So it does need a paint job. Hopefully this car will find a good home. |
