Description of 1969 Ford F-150 |
If you've been searching for a clean, turn key vintage truck to drive for summer this may be the one for you. On July 21st 1969, Fred Ramsey walked into Chubbuck Motor Company in Ordway Colorado and purchased this F100. He cared for this truck and meticulously maintained it until his passing in 2012. This 1969 F100 Ranger has the "Explorer Special" trim package. Also, this truck in not restored. Original Paint and interior. 360, Auto, P/S, P/B. Since the truck is approaching 50 years old it does have dings, scratches and thin spots on the hood. Check out the pics though and see what you think. There can't be many trucks left in this unrestored condition plus its a great color combo with good options. The truck starts easily and sounds smooth and quiet. It also drives extremely nice. The ride is surprisingly smooth and soft compared to most old trucks. Anyone could drive it comfortably and easily. Everything works as it should, lights, signals, gauges etc... To make it as dependable and driveable as possible for you the following parts are new:Tires, front shocks, carburetor, plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, Pertronix Ignitor II, starter, alternator, belts, hoses, radiator, air filter, rear main oil seal, transmission service and fuel pump. The truck is 90% original paint with only the drivers door being repaired. All other paint, metal and trim is the same stuff as day it rolled off the assembly line. The only rust spot on the entire truck is bottom of the LF fender - see pic. The rest of the truck is perfect. The interior is 100% original. Paint, trim, carpet, seat, everything. The only blemish on the interior is a cracked dash pad. The interior is incredibly well preserved. Overall, it would be difficult to find another 60's truck, any make or model this nice and original. It has also been mechanically gone through to make it as dependable as possible. I'm in an easily accessible pick up area for transport. I know a good reputable transport company and I can make all of the necessary arrangements for you. Buyer is responsible for cost of transport. For more info call or text 573-230-6222 |
