Description of 1952 Ford Other Pickups |
This listing is for a Rat Rod truck that started out as a 1952 F-3 Ford Truck. It is currently registered and insured in the State of Georgia and is street driven. It is a blast to drive and gets plenty of looks and lots of thumbs up.
In keeping with the Rat Rod theme, this truck was left rusty and the paint has a great patina. There are no side windows or wipers, so it is a fair-weather truck. Add them if you want once you buy it.
The engine is a 1976 454 Chevrolet with oval port heads and a Hurst shifter (custom long shift handle.) The truck sits on a 1994 Chevrolet S10 frame and thus drives somewhat like an S10 with a heavy 454 in it.
The engine runs well as is and has plenty of power. The engine is from a motor home with 66,000 miles on it.
The following is a partial listing of new parts added during this build. Radiator, flywheel, front wheel calipers, front brake hoses, brake pads, front tires (100 miles on them), gauges, windshield, windshield and back glass rubber seals, mufflers, tail lights, headlights, grille shell, and many more smaller items.
Take a good look at the images and ask questions if you are interested. This is a highly modified vehicle, as is any true rat rod.
The State of Georgia does not title vehicles of this age and therefore will be sold with a bill of sale. I will be glad to provide you with a copy of the current registration for you to get a title in your state if a title is indeed required.
Please make sure you know your state's requirements regarding titles and vehicle transfers before buying this vehicle.
Vehicle can be picked up in Dublin, Georgia 31027. If it needs to be shipped, you will have to make all of the arrangements.
