This is one of our latest reconditioning projects as the body was so nice and straight we decided to take it on and make it a dependable little off road 4x4. We have done may things to improve this Bronco II and started with taking all of the interior out including the carpet and the headliner and replacing both items. Since our goal was to make this a versatile outdoor, off road unit we replaced the old carpet with a new full length rubber mat. The headliner was gouged and just too dirty so we purchased new material and replaced all of it with factory type cloth. The factory radio was not working so we upgraded it also with a Bluetooth compatible unit. We bought new white spoke wheels with near new off road tires and repainted the factory spare and matched up a new tire to mount on the rear carrier. The rear door was broken out where the spare tire carrierlocking device attaches to the rear door and we re-glassed the inside of the lift-gateand put reinforcement using diamond plate aluminum on the outside to better handle the weight of the tire and carrier. The engine needed a complete tune-up including rebuilding the carb andinstalling a new choke. All new plugs and wires, new distributor cap and rotor, new PCV valve, new fuel filter, new V belts and a new heater core as the old one was leaking. The front end needed work so we replaced ball joints, tie rod ends, sector shaft and did a realignment on the front end. Other things that needed attention that we repaired include: Removed rear pinion seal and replaced, installed a new stop light switch, replaced power steering pump shaft seal, replace a broken A pillar on the passengerside interior and had thedrivers front seat framerepaired. We have this unit in good shape now other than the paint and the front seaton the driversside has tears in the seat upholstery. The unit is ready to go have some fun and if you want to paint it that is your choice! Call us at 541-426-2100 or email us through eBay with any questions that you may have.
