For the complete Carfax report, contact me and I will email (just paid for one). Over 27 years I have aprox. $50,000!!! in modifications (some replaced by better products), so if you want brand and date details please contact me through eBay and I will try to find receipts and respond.
I ordered this awesome 5.0L new in Colorado and have mostly modified and maintained it myself getting professional help for welding, body work, or suspension alignment. As a retired engineer I have 3 "sports cars", a Jeep, 2 trucks, and a house...I am only selling this car to reduce my maintenance time and $. This Mustang 5.0L Coupe is rust free, damage free, always maintained with synthetic oil, stored inside. There were some new-car dealer warranty repairs and minor tuning/fixes for emissions failure in Colorado, but I have primarily maintained it. I am a mechanical and electrical engineer and have all the Ford original manuals and schematics (will ship with car), so I am reasonably capable but also know my limits. Stock 5.0L bottom end, NEVER supercharged, never had turbo, never had nitrous. When replacing oil pan gasket a few years ago, the oil pump, crank, etc. looked brand new (all original bottom end).
After purchase this Mustang was heavily modified for good handling, good braking and safety. This was the first car I autocrossed and took for novice training at a race track. It has never been road or drag raced, but it has autocrossed (and is competitive). In the realm of Fox body 5.0L Mustangs, it handles and stops beyond compare. I have 2 other track cars, so I no longer use this car except for Sunday cruising and sometimes lead-follow instructing at the National Corvette Museum track (I am a high performance driving instructor). It is NEVER abused and ALWAYS maintained.
Body - professionally repainted with stock color in 2002 with all new rubber seals since the Colorado sun while at work had faded the paint plus I wanted to add the Cervini aero kit and hood. Also, front fenders were modified to accomodate moving front wheels forward several inches for tubular K-member (much better weight distribution). $7635 total. Structurally reinforced with thru the floor subframe connectors, rear box strengthening and bolt-in roll cage with removable door bars.Engine - original block and bottom end with major air flow improvements including, ported Twisted Wedge aluminum heads, extrude honed Edelbrock Performer intakes, custom Lunati cam, all new valve train. Lots of details: Roller rockers, long tube headers, low loss accessory pulleys, high flow cats and mufflers, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, late model starter and alternator (lighter), larger throttle body and mass air flow, aluminum radiator, Ford SVT hoses, bigger injectors and fuel pump with RPM sensitive fuel pressure reduction. At Denver Colorado high altitude this 5.0L met emissions, starts and idled smoothly, runs great at any altitude, has dyno'd 300+ HP with stock ECU. A chip and tune at sea-level would likely obtain 325-350 HP (torque was aprox. stock 300 lb-ft).Suspension - Griggs GR40 through floor subframe connectors, tubular K-member and control arms, springs, torque arm, panhard bar, Steeda front anti-roll bar, Maximum Motorsports adjustable rear coil-overs with Bilstein dampers, caster/camber plates, Koni Yellow (new) adjustable front dampers, all metal bushings, Ford Cobra steering rack, patrol car power steering cooler, Ford SN95 spindles. Many other suspension details like bump steer kit, weight reduction (back seat, aluminum heads and radiator, late model parts and track alignment - it all works fantastically well with just a little noise from the metal bushings (ride & clearance good/streetable).Driveline - Cobra Tremec 5 speed (stronger, better ratios),stronger 5-lug 28 spline rear axles, Torsen rear diff, 3:55 gears, aluminum driveshaft and flywheel, King Cobra clutch.Safety - Baer racing PBR rear brakes with parking brake (C4 Corvette/Camaro based), Ford SN95 Cobra front brakes, Maximum Motorsports roll cage with door bars, Sparco race seats, 5 point harnesses (good but out of date for racing), original seat belts still usable, racing pedals setup.Miscellaneous - new AC compressor and associated (R134), recent suspension check/tightening. New Sparco race seats. Ford SVT Cobra R 5-lug wheels (real, not Chinese), good Hankook RS3 DOT track/summer tires. All lights, heat and air, radio, windows, locks, etc. work as new.
Thank you for looking at my car and good luck if you bid!

Note: Under DRIVELINE section I should have mentioned that it has a Pro 5.0 billet shifter that protects the shift forks and is very precise and solid feeling.
