Description of 1969 Ford F-100 Ranger |
Truck is a lwb, original paint, Diamond Aqua blue. Body was buffed out and a handful of small nicks and chips were retouched along with underside of doors. The old bed seam sealer along the bump side was cleaned out, refilled and touched up as well. Painter did an excellent job blending this in. On the interior I replaced the 50 year old carpet with the correct replacement carpet and had the seat re upholstered with the factory correct Blue Shetland Plaid from SMS Fabrics, which came in the Explorer package. I also installed new door seals on the truck. Old ones were not horrible, just wanted to do it right with the complete new interior. Previous owner installed a vintage retro radio, however the original AM radio will be included in the sale. The truck runs amazing as you will see in the video. Previous owner installed an Edelbrock intake and carburetor on the original 360 years back, which along with headers really gives the truck some pep! The original intake and carburetor will also be included in the sale. Previous owner also upgraded the original transmission with the C-6 which is a huge upgrade from the problematic Cruise-O-Matic that it came with. As mentioned the factory AC still runs like a champ! Every light, gauge, signal etc. all work as should. When I first acquired the truck it was not starting correctly and a new timing chain fixed that perfectly. Engine runs strong, no smoke and transmission works perfect. All the badges, grill and trim are original, and as you can see in photos there is some fading and oxidizing fading and oxidizing. I just wanted to keep it as original as possible. It's obvious the truck has always at least been parked under cover, if not garaged. The absolute only place the truck has any rust through is some spots in the floor of the bed. However previous owner installed and welded a solid sheet of metal plate, and had the bed rhino lined. This was done years ago and it's still in excellent condition. Other than that, there is absolutely zero rust through on the truck. None. Cab corners, floor pans, body mounts all have no rust through. While ebay only allows so many photos, I have many more, including interior when original carpet was taken out. Great shots of the bare factory floor pans with barely even any surface rust. I will be glad to send these, and any other photos of areas you would like to see of the truck. I always reply within 24 hours or less. While I have not sold many vehicles through eBay, the one I have have all sold with 100% satisfaction as you can see in my reviews. Every vehicle sold is exactly as described. So again, if you have any questions, or would like to see more photos of specific areas please just ask. The truck also comes with the Marti Report as can be seen in photos. If your a Ford lover like I am, you know the Rangers with the Explorer package just do not come up that often, especially in this condition. RESERVE - has been set well below NADA values for this truck. I have no doubt it will meet reserve early in auction, which will assure all bidders it will be selling and finding it's way to a new owner at end of auction! BIDDERS - With ZERO feedback must contact me prior to bidding! Your bid will not be accepted otherwise. *A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of close of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days. I am also glad to assist buyer with securing a shipper if help is needed. Good luck to all and I assure you that you can bid with confidence on this nearly 50 year old classic Ford. My first truck was a 69 F-100 many years ago, but it was not near as nice as this truck is. It's nice to also see the long wheel base gaining in popularity finally! Someone will be getting a great 69 Ranger at end of this auction. Good luck & happy bidding! 69 F-100 Ranger video link: https://youtu.be/6kWdJ1tJqyQ On Aug-02-18 at 08:55:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Couple of updates,* I have no idea why the video link does not work in item description, but this one seems to be working now. Watch it if you get a chance it really shows how good the old truck runs & drives. It can also be looked up on YouTube under 1969 Ford F100 Ranger.
