Description of 1967 Ford Mustang GT |
This car has had a partial restoration. I would consider it at around 95%; just my opinion. The only items I can see that could be replaced is the bezel around the A/C controls on the left side of the dash and the stainless panel on the drivers door (see pictures). There are many upgrades such as 351 with Edelbrock heads, AC, tilt wheel (note this tilt wheel is also set up to swing away; this is not connected as appears to need vacuum parts replaced); Power Steering, Power Brakes, 4 wheel disc brakes, GT hood and grill with signal indicators, Shelby style wheels, wood steering wheel, stereo system, custom interior. Has a safety kill switch in glove box; electric trunk release, Fog lights, electric cooling fan, Mustang floor mats, chrome is very good,GT items have been added, just to name some of the features The items that I have replaced in the last month are: Power steering pump & all steering hoses, replaced front strut rod bushings, adjusted emergency brake cable. Note that due to disc brake conversion, brake light comes on when brakes applied. My mechanic has said that is due to still using factory master cylinder (does not affect braking) There are 3 paint chips on the top of the passenger rear fender; possibly other small ones The driver's door needs adjusting, as a little hard to close. Car is a great driver as is, with some TLC could be an show winner. The reason I am selling is that I recently bought a 62 Vet and need to make room in my garage. Since car is 51 years old, being sold as is, with no warranties. I will review all reasonable offers. Buyer is responsible for shipping I reserve to end the auction early as is advertised in other sites |
