Description of 1977 Ford F-150 Super Cab Ranger "Trailer Special

Selling my 1977 Ford Ranger Super Cab due to health reasons. I've had the truck for 4 years now and I have spent a lot of money rebuilding the front end, steering box, and engine work. The chassis is rust free andthe interior is original and in great shape. The engine runs beautifully although I was going to rebuild the carb and replace the EGR. I believe the mileage is accurate and I've had several Ford mechanics look at it and they believe it is original mileage as well. There are several issues that need to be addressed; the dash pad must be replaced, I was going to take it out and have it covered, also, there is some rust on the roof, drip rails on one side and there is approximately a 4" rust spot over the driver's side. No evidenceof rust in the interior, this was my next project but I'm 77 now and having some medical issues. The truck is solid and I hate to see it go but it needs an owner that will do the necessary work to bring it up to factory standards. This is a great price that I'm asking, once it is restored it will bring twice my asking price.

Several people have asked me about the rust issue. I've taken several pictures of the roof and you can see that the rust is running along the drip rail. I took a picture inside the cab at the area directly under the rust area and as you can see there are no watermarks. It has been raining here on and off for several weeks so it was going to leak the roof of the cab would be wet. I believe that the rust is on the surface.
