Description of 1931 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup; Lacquer Paint |
1931 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup - YouTube Video will open in a new window ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES AND I DO NOT FINANCE Beautifully restored 1931 Ford Model 'A' Roadster pickup. Restoration was completed 17 years ago, and it looks as good now as it did then. It is painted in lacquer; both the base coat and clear. There are no cracks, rust or rust bubbles, patch panels, 'crow's feet', or paint issues. It is straight and solid. Body and paint work were performed by Harold Kreibel of Collegeville, PA. As to being original; the headlight buckets and grill shell are stainless and not painted. Additionally, custom etching was performed on the glass 'wind wings'. The engine and drive line are original and rebuilt to the stock specs. All work was performed by Walter Ketter of Perkasie, PA. In 17 years, a total of 4,000 miles have been logged on the odometer. The pickup runs great, see video, does not burn any oil and there are no leaks underneath. All gauges function as normal, including the gas gauge. Extra new parts are included such as a coil, condenser, and starter button. Original tools are also part of the sale. The wooden 'tool box' in the bed is held in place with anti-stick rubber which is on the bottom. There are no holes in the wooden bed. Owner is selling due to having too many toys. PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 15 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 7 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, "Tire kickersâ€, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!! References can be provided upon request. Feel free to call me at 410-937-0719 Thank you J.D. Kurzmann
