Description of 1969 Ford Mustang |
This car was in running condition when purchased. Have 302. Not numbers matching. Has been completely broken down and sanded. Front floor plans replaced. No rust. Body painted. Has new Heidts low-profile front end kit.Transmission has been rebuilt. Car has been kept in a climate controlled environment. Painting will need to be completed. This car could be put back together with any engine and transmission. Would make a great 302/429 BOSS restomod. On Jan-05-19 at 10:54:55 PST, seller added the following information: Car was running and driving good when we disassembled. Tore down 302 motor to find out true condition and found that motor had fresh rebuild. You can still see break in not even complete. Have complete 302 Not numbers matching. Will need reassembly. We have done a lot of work. We removed shock towers and plated motor compartment, Installed Heidts heavy duty front end disc brakes and rack + pinion steering making for great driving. Lots of working room under the hood. We have original interior see photo's. No Dash Pad. Original glass with factory tint but no windshield. Original dash - instrument and rear interior panels, front and rear bumpers need rechrome. See photos. New gas tank. Tail lights, valence, hood etc. Most if not all of the parts we took off we have. See old parts in photos. Transmission rebuilt during our restore. Torque convertor still in box. Minor Rust which occurs during lengthy restore for example see photo of left rear leaf springs. This car style had small amount of chrome.Just plan on replacing all chrome except bumpers. Lots of old original parts - see photo - headers not original. Exhaust see photo. Parts of car and car itself that are in restoration have and will continue to be stored in climate controlled storage. Bumpers old parts, hood etc are in barn I planned to use a different hood. Most if not all bolts and nuts are in zip lock bags labeled where they go. Do not have push rods because I do not reinstall used push rods. With this front end that will accept any ford motor you have great options going forward Boss 302 Resto Mod Boss, 429 Resto Mod, Mach 1 Resto Mod, Fast back Resto mod. Clean clear Mississippi Title. You can and are recommended to inspect or have inspected by anyone of your choice. Buyer Responsible for shipping. Selling as is no warranty of any kind. |
