Description of 1956 Ford F-100 |
This is a very nice 56 Ford Pickup project that was started. The truck is a roller. it has a Volare front clip that was professionally installed (caster is correct and tires are right in the fender wells) The engine is a 351c out of a 69 Mustang Mach 1 and has low miles on a rebuild. The transmission is an automatic AOD and has 74k on it. This truck started as a F250 long bed and has been sitting on a farm in Idaho since 1974. nbsp; The cab is a Custom Cab with all the Stainless trim and has only surface rust on the floors I cannot find any rust thru spots. the two lower rear fender bolts were removed with my fingers. The only issue is the top it was used to haul wood and some of the wood didn't make it to the back of the truck but still no rust in the drip rails or anywhere around the windows. The front fenders are also nice with just a few dings. The hood is also nice with just a few dings. about the only thing missing is the short box and those can be bought new for not much money. This is almost a complete pickup. all the front sheet metal with a fairly nice chrome grille. all inner fenders and core support. The rear fenders are in great shape. This nice project can be bought for about what a new fiberglass cab can be bought for. Any questions please call 208-599-1462 |
