Description of 1965 Ford E-Series Van |
1965 Ford E100Hard to find Panel Shorty Parting ways with my super cool '65 E100 Panel "Shortyâ€. This van is awesome and I hate to let it go. I've been letting go of several old gems from my collection and I held on to this one until the end. I haven't had the time and space to get to all my projects so I'm getting down to a manageable few. This has everything going for it the van enthusiast would want. This is a rust free van out of Lake Havaseau, Arizona. The fact that it's a short wheel base panel (no side windows) makes it the perfect candidate for an old school hot rod / shag van. The custom van scene is making a strong comeback and ones like this are getting really hard to find. The metal is in great shape with no sign of rust or rot. Body is very straight and uncut. No vent holes or sunroof cut in the roof. The old gentleman I bought it from last year said he had the inline 6 cyl rebuilt as well as the transmission. He mentioned it was the heavy duty 6 cyl ... I'm not sure the displacement. I believe the rearend is the Ford 9â€.There's a new balanced driveshaft that comes with it. I have 3 large bins of parts that come with it. He kept everything with it that came off. It is missing the radiator, he said the old one wasn't worth keeping. Tires and wheels are in new condition and it appears brakes and wheel cylinders have been replaced with new. Both front seats are also included but need to be recovered. Obviously the van does not run and drive right now. It rolls and steers easily. Brakes are not hooked up. Please ask any questions before bidding. I'll do my best to respond quickly. This is the perfect van that wouldn't take a lot to get back on the road. Don't miss this one ! I can't emphasize enough that if youhavequestion, please ask them before bidding. I've beenactive oneBay for 16 years and I value my feedback. I have bought and sold MANY old vehicles oneBay and have had all 100% positive transactions up until recently. A truck I sold several months ago ended up falling short of the buyer'sridiculousexpectations in spite of answering all his questions and the many pictures. He chose to give me negative feedback and accuse me of being "dishonest" and of "horriblymisrepresenting the truck". It'sunfortunate he chose to do that and I'm currently seeking recourse througheBay. Worst caseeBay needs to allow sellers the chance to post a rebuttal and to give feedback on the buyer. eBay needs to step up to the plate and allow sellers a fair shake at defending themselves asthey allow buyers freereign to slam yourfeedback and good name without just cause. Anyway, enough moaning about that. I want the new owner to behappy with theirpurchase just as I want to be happy with the sale. Housekeeping:Please ask all questions, have funds in place, and permission (if needed, haha) BEFORE bidding. It takes a lot of time and money to list on ebay and I don't want to waste my, or anyone elses, time. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I'm willing to help on my end to make sure all goes well with your transport at pick up time. Van is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. I'm not a dealer. I've described the vehicle as straight forwardly as I can. To serious bidders, if you want to see anything that isn't pictured I'm happy to take additional photos of what you'd like to see and email them to yo, just ask. I'm willing to discuss the van on the phone with serious buyers, simply email me your phone number and I will call you. I'll consider ending the aution early if you would like to make an offer that's good for both of us. Good Luck !! |
