Description of 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 |
BUY or Trade for 66-67 GTO of same value. S code 1969 Mach I. Originally equipped with 390, Raven black exterior color PB, front disk brakes, PS, AC, Automatic trans I have had this car for about 10 yrs. I have done nothing to it except change oil and replace batteries and clean carburetor every once in a while. Reliable always starts like a match. Car is driven mostly within a 10-20 mile radius. Never had a problem. I am not sure I want to sell but may be its time. I consider the car to be a survivor as it has basically existed for about 50 yrs and all is original except for the motor and the color. The Mach came originally with a 390 engine and Raven black exterior. Not many Raven black mach I's. Under the hood now sits a 351 Cleveland engine. Transmission is the original automatic. What I know about the car is that it does show signs of at one time body repairs around the roof gutters and lower rear quarter panels. Maybe some parking lot style nicks and dents repaired on the sides. I am sure Bondo was used. No signs of mayor damage or body repairs. Paint is a red with clear coat. Interior is all original (of course faded door panels), folding rear seats. I think even has the original carpet, but not sure. Front floor pans had some rus, not extensive but were repaired with a panel inside and panel underneath such that floor pans are now solid. AC compresor not installed but all parts and hoses included for the new owner. Brand new tires on Mag wheels. Only negative.... the motor does have a slight valve tick, it has had it for ten yrs and just never saw the need to fix. easy fix for the next owner. I don't know how much a Mach , S code is worth in this shape so I will price at what I feel is worth to start and take some offers... who knows, I cant take it with me so I might sell it. |
