Description of 1972 Ford Bronco Sport |
A definite project that will need a lot of body work and wiring repair/replace; drive train is good. Most of the rust and dents are shown in the pictures. There is rust through on the inner fenders up by where the hood attaches as well. Look closely. the pictures don't always show the issues real well. There is no top or doors. all I have is what's pictured. The 302 does run quite well. I believe there has been major work done to it. but I can't say with absolute certainty. Tires are rotted. but the brakes and exhaust is good. It does not have power steering or power brakes. There is an aftermarket ignition switch in it that doesn't work well. so I have to hotwire it to run. It sure is a project. and it needs about everything. but it runs and drives. The gas tanks were shot. so I removed and discarded both of them. I've just been using a little red can that I dropped a fuel line in to make it so I could move it around the yard. It's a handy little can. so I'm going to have to keep it. There are some seats just sitting in the Bronco that came from some donor car. If you want them. you can have them. The front bumper is in the truck as well. but it is in the same condition the Broncos body is in - poor. Please ask questions as I'm sure I've left a myriad of things out. It is a project that I haven't got to. so I don't know a lot about it. but I can get your questions answered. I hate surprises too! |
