Description of 1970 Ford Mustang

this was a complete untouched car when I found it several years ago. not sure on miles but I think it is somewhere around 80 something thousand. complete matching number with bucktag and build sheet was found when we pulled seats out to replace floor pans. doors on car shut tight . not like a lot of old mustang doors that sag and etc. these shut very good and tight. pass door does have a dent in it. when I bought car several years ago it was complete with marker lights and all molding around the grille. when I bought it . I didn't know if it runned or not as I had to pull it onto my trailer and it had been sitting for some time in a mans yard. I brought it home and it sit a while and some guys were working on another car I had and they took the moldings and marker lights out and didn't put them back in and I found some of the marker lights but molding pieces are missing. I decided I wanted to see if it would run. so I bought a new carb and set points and got it to running and then decided to take it to local shop and have mufflers put on and get brakes working . so I got all that done and drove it home and it sit for a year or two and we decided to go to work and make the underside good for a driver. all the hard work has been done on underside. new floors. new torque boxes. new seat risers. new frame extensions. in trunk has new trunk floor pans frame extensions and etc. I know most people don't want to do underside work so we took about 2 weeks or so to get all of this done so whoever buys it can start driving it and enjoy it while they do the outside and interior work as we didn't do the interior or body that is left up to buyer. the trunk lid needs replaced. quarter panels are needed and work on pass door as well as finishing body work . so here is the sweet deal a person can have a matching number car . an original fastback and great father and son project. it still has the old plug and wires on it and will probably need all that replaced before you start driving it on a daily basis. I bought carb new. interior pretty nuch is wore out and carpet was blue but we put some black carpet we had lying around garage as the blue carpet was tore pretty bad. dash pad needs replaced and seats need recovered. needs headliner. body is as you see it. we replaced radiator as original one had a small leak. I did not put a buy it now price because of bidders who miss use it and don't contact you and leave a seller hanging but if you want to buy it now then email me your phone number and I will call you when I am not at work or email me what you want to do and I will get back with you. sold as is no warranties. car is as you see it nothing more and nothing less. I do also have this car listed in some other places so I do reserve the right to end this auction if it sells or becomes unavailable. I forgot when I listed this that I plan on being out of town from the 13th to the 25th of march but we can work plans out for you to pick car up as I can have someone meet you there when you come to get it or if you have a shipper then we will have also someone there when it is picked up.
