Description of 1932 Ford Roadster -- |
With its thorough display of skilled workmanship and inspired customization, this 1932 Ford Roadster epitomizes the street rod niche. This is a truly awesome ride, built on an ultra-solid foundation to withstand both time and the rigors of the road and wearing plenty of distinctive touches from front to back to create a singular appearance. You'll be catching this classic at its absolute zenith - it's only logged about 2,000 miles on its build and is in outstanding condition in all respects. Starting with a rock solid foundation is always the best way to ensure a stellar end result and this professionally built '32 certainly has things covered in that respect, as its all-steel body was manufactured at the hands of Dearborn Deuce, a thoroughly respected builder. One of the signature design elements the manufacturer is known for comes in the form of the hideaway convertible top that gives this Ford such clean lines while also equipping it with all-weather drivability. Its exterior is clad in striking black paint that's in top form, with a shine that's visible from quite a distance and no blemishes in sight. There's a dazzling array of customization on board to give this street machine a one of a kind presence, including a Brookville front grille that harbors a pair of low-slung King Bee headlights, shaved doors and a pinched nose chassis to provide a sleek, tapered appearance. The custom smoothed rear roll pans and polished steel step plates are yet two more features that give this car its stare inducing appearance. The red leather interior was designed and installed from scratch and will stand out in even the most well-heeled of automotive company. Starting with the clean and ultra-comfortable bench seat straddled by a pair of matching door panels, the quality of the details inside the cabin is truly something to behold and everything seems to tie in perfectly. While many streetrods put the emphasis on sheer acceleration, this one has obviously been carefully configured with interior aesthetics as an additional priority. A Vintage Air climate control system keeps things comfortable throughout the seasons and the chrome tilting steering column puts the period appropriate steering wheel in just the right position while power windows and remote door openers are welcome features you don't often see on cars of this type. The silver-faced Classic Instrument gauges look great against the surrounding black steel of the dash and they, as well as the control knobs and switches just below, are all in good working order. Everything has been put into place to create an outstanding driving experience. A 350 cubic inch V8 resides in the engine compartment, dressed in a stunning display of chrome components and surrounded by color matched inner fenders and a firewall in showroom condition. The powerplant is fed by a 4-barrel carb that's perched on a chrome intake manifold and is fully dialed in, starting promptly and pulling with plenty of strength as it pairs with a 3-speed automatic TH350 transmission that shifts flawlessly. A Walker radiator sits up front with an accompanying electric fan to keep operating temperatures under control. The Pete and Jake's Superbell front suspension adds a 4" drop for just the right aggressive stance, while the 4-link coilover suspension in back provides a refined ride. Disc brakes at all four corners bring this stare inducing Ford's set of staggered American Racing wheels - featuring massive Goodyear rubber in back - to fade resistant stops. Search long and hard and you're still not likely to come across a streetrod as well configured and thoroughly clean as this 1932 Ford Roadster. Call today! |
