This week Canyon State Classics has another fine car for your bidding pleasure. Presented in all of its glory is the nicest ALL ORIGINAL 35k mi Ford Galaxie Fastback possibly in existence. This car was in storage after only 25k of driving by its original owner. Its most recent trustee enjoyed it for about 12yrs only putting about 10k miles on it and is finally being offered for the world to see. I have been in this business since 2005 and have never come across a more fine and original example.

The exterior on the car is in great condition and is solid as a rock without a single flaw. The car is finished in Peacock Blue and has been carefully stored and looks great and turns heads everywhere it goes. All body lines are correct. The car has been buffed and hand polished to a smooth as glass shine. All chrome and stainless is in spectacular original condition and must be seen to be believed. This car is very solid with no rust in the rockers, floors, or wheel wells whatsoever. All glass is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are soft and pliable as they should be. All of the emblems and trim are beautiful and all of the lenses are crack free. This car is something that must be taken in at length. The more time you spend with it, the more special you realize this car truly is!

The interior is in awesome shape all around. All the seats are 100% original and un-altered in spectacular condition. The seating surfaces are flawless as well as the door panels and carpet. This Galaxie is finished in the very stunning two tone blue and turquoise interior. All four of the door panels and stainless inserts look good. The carpet is very nice and has its Galaxie 500 embossed floor mats. The gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function correctly. The power windows were just serviced and work great. The car has ice cold vintage AC, updated electronic cruise control, and an updated sound system with CD changer in the trunk. The trunk compartment has been beautifully preserved displaying original mats and complete with all tools. Look at the original yellow stamps on bottom of hood and trunk lid.
Mechanically, this Big Ford runs great. The motor provides ample power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The brakes are all in good shape and stop the car with ease. This car was previously owned by a Ford fanatic. He went through all systems and checked for operation and changed all fluids fresh. All correct accessories are in place and the motor has been beautifully preserved and still retains mostly FOMOCO hoses and parts. NOS has been used whenever possible. The car was fully tuned up and all new belts and hoses installed. The A/C system was also fully serviced and is functional.

All in all, this is a very nice Ford Galaxie that can be driven and enjoyed with out worry. With its classic body lines and trademark slab sided looks, this car will forever remain a classic.
