Description of 1930 Ford Model A

This is a recently completed Traditional Hot Rod Coupe that is in need of a few personal touches and finishing. First and foremost this is one of the best built rods I have seen with attention to detail second to none. Unfortunately I would have to call this a 95% car as it needs a few things finished to completion. The car needs the e-brake system installed (handle but no cables included). original temp gauge rebuilt. wheel alignment and if you are taller than 5'8" you will need to lower the seat about 2-3 inches which will not be difficult. The car is virtually brand new and I don't think it has ever seen the road. everything you see is either new or rebuilt. Almost everything you see that is black is powder coated. The driveline is a rebuilt 272 Y-block with Mallory ignition and three fresh Stromberg 94s. rebuilt Cruiseomatic transmission using Flat-o-matic adapter and new 9 inch with 3. 5 TracLoc and 2. 5 brakes by Johns Brake Industries. P&J ladder bars with 40 type transverse spring and balanced shaft finish the rear. Front is all Superbell with MT Products Lincoln 2 inch brakes and wide five hubs. 37 wide fives all around with adapters on rear. Chassis is all new rectangular tube and is a sight to behold. Radiator is new Walker. 32 shell is steel. firewall original and as close to perfect as can be. cowl vent added. 36 dash with rebuilt gauges and a nicely done Rebel harness. Interior is all finished and very nice. glass is new and all functional. new tank in rear along with gel battery. Everywhere you look you will see nice work and again. attention to detail. I have a clear and open CA title for the car with the vin displayed on the B pillar. I'm sure there will be some bugs that need to be worked out as again. this is a brand new car. I doubt you could build this car with the quality of parts and construction shown for twice the reserve. Look at the many photos. they tell the story better that words. As always. NO test pilots.
