1972 Ford F-100 Explorer trim package. Genuine FARM FIND from dry climate eastern Colorado!!!!! What it needs; C6 Transmission needs work (not shifting properly), park gear not working, will include a parking gear and pawl to the auction winner. Don't have keys to access the side toolbox so no idea whats inside, it's still locked. Gotta jiggle the ignition to start it. Truck bed is rusted and has dents, one larger one in the bulkhead and back of cab. Has exhaust manifold leak, needs exhaust system from muffler back. Has a slow leak in left front tire. Tires have good tread but are weather checked. Very minor rust for it's age! What it has; Cab mounts and tailgate show little to no rust, see pictures! Original hubcaps! Grill has been well protected! This truck was well cared for by the original owner. New Alternator, belts, hoses, water pump, heater core, points condenser, spark plugs, wires and rebuilt carburetor. Starts and runs! Has some oil leaks from dried out seals and gaskets, and just needs some TLC. Hey it's nearly 50 years old and needs a few things and probably some I missed, but this is when they made trucks you could fix yourself! Parts are still available as well! Power steering and brakes with automatic transmission. Can help load if needed. Want to keep it but wife and son say I have enough projects already. :( A true survivor!
