Description of 1965 Ford Mustang

Up for sale is my 1965 Mustang Fastback GT 350 Tribute. 12 month restoration. Most importantly to note is that we replaced the stock 289 with a Ford Motor Sports 427. Ford masterfully takes a small block 351 and builds a 427 making a robust 545 HP @ 4500 RPM with a compression ratio of 10.4 to 1. Fueled by a Holly 750 Double Pumper. Forged Mahle pistons, SCAT forged steel H beam connecting rods, hydraulic roller camshaft and SCAT forged steel crankshaft. Ford racing 4 bolt main with a Boss 351 block. A custom balanced driveshaft was also fitted. Tremec five speed transmission with a Hurst shifter and new heavy duty clutch were also installed.
Paint was taken down to bare metal, both front quarter panels were replaced (rust at bottom). Car was resprayed Wimbledon White with the correct blue painted striping and then clear-coated. New carpet and a new headliner were also installed. New fuel tank/lines, Custom exhaust, Air shocks in rear, New American Racing Wheels. Fiberglass hood. This car is absolutely beautiful. The sound is phenomenal. Her looks stop people dead in their tracks. She is not overbuilt because I wanted the feel of the muscle cars I had in the 60s.....a little primitive, very fast, great sound, and sexy looks. Over $65,000 invested. Driven less than 500 miles since restoration.
Enjoy looking. She is a beautiful tribute with a little extra muscle.
