This is a 1986 Mustang GT that has not been raced. beaten or modified. It has original paint. original interior. new. Goodyear Gatorback tires. Brakes has been recently serviced as well as all fluids. hoses. battery and other maintenance items. New Cat-back exhaust only because original mufflers were broken up inside. but I kept the original stainless tail pipes. New aluminum heater core with lifetime warranty. new A/C dryer and hose and R134a conversion (fittings) (has ice cold A/C and burning hot heater). New Ford battery. spark plugs. filters. etc. Rear axle clutches were upgraded to new Ford Performance clutches to resolve the "Traction-Lok axles not "locking" on slippery surfaces (like rain) and the ring and pinion were upgraded from factory 2. 73 to factory 3. 27. which is what the automatic cars came with. but I still have the 2. 73 gears. In the process. all bearings were changed to new Timken bearings (same as OEM) and new stock replacement axles were installed due to the axle bearings having rusted from sitting. Includes original brochure. reproduction window sticker and all original parts replaced for maintenance purposes. Runs like new. sounds like new. It truly is a time capsule.
