Description of 1966 Ford Mustang

Up for auction is our 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. I believe it was stripped to bare metal and painted its factory color. I can find no rust on this car. Everything works except the air conditioner. It came new with a front bench seat, factory air, a 289 V8 4 barrel, and a manual 4 speed transmission. We installed front disc brakes and a proportioning / distributing valve which is necessary when putting disc brakes on a car that didn't come with them. We also had the front bench seat recovered. We installed 3 point front seat belts, a dual bowl master cylinder, LED tail lights and parking lights an LED digital flasher along with halogen headlights. The tires have less than 500 miles on them. They were new in 2018. The factory A/C is original Ford. We've not tried to have it repaired, but it should work if serviced. We have all the original parts, (brake drums, master cylinder, seat belts) if you want to put it back totally stock. We're retired and thought we'd make better use of it, but we decided to sell it since we rarely drive it. Sales are final so please ask any questions before you bid. If you would like more pictures, just ask. Pick in person or by auto transport is required. Transport is to be paid by the buyer. We will store this car for up to 14 days if you choose to have a transport company pick it up. Payment in full is required within 7 days of the close of the auction. No personal checks. The car is maroon metallic. It was an optional color offered in 1966. The light and shadow in some pictures make it appear lighter than it is.

This car has had the gas tank replaced. It also comes with the Ford factory repair manual and other after market manuals. It does not come with a spare tire, jack or lug wrench.
