Description of 1932 Ford Roadster Highboy Hot Rod Show Car |
High quality and no expense spared 1932 Ford ‘Highboy’ Roadster in a stunning Ford PPG Monte Carlo red 2-stage urethane. The body is by Wescott and it is titled as a 1932 Ford. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being absolutely perfect. This roadster is a 9.75!!! Many of the items on the car were custom made by the owner, such as the ash and stainless bows and brackets for the Haartz cloth top, or the stainless-steel hold-downs for the hood, or even the hand-made sill plates. NO TRADES CASH ONLY You will not be disappointed in any aspect of this car. As a matter of fact in some areas it is well over the top. The frame is a one-of-a-kind custom item which uses ’32 rails and a Progressive Automotive ‘K’ member. All the welds along the frame, including the headlight brackets were filled, ground, and smoothed. Even the front parking lights/turn signals were hand made. This roadster was built and painted by the owner and completed in 1999. Total mileage since completion is a mere 6100 and it looks as good, maybe better, than the day it was done. Always kept in a heated and A/C garage. Below are the specifics. Additionally, receipts for the parts and work performed by outside sources will be included upon request. A car cover, ‘Ford’ polish bag, new deep chrome transmission pan, and new finned Chevrolet valve covers are also included. SPECIFICATIONS: Engine & Transmission: 350 c.i./ 345 h.p. PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 15 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 10 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!! References can be provided upon request. Feel free to call me at 410-937-0719 Thank you J.D. Kurzmann
