1955 Ford Customline Hi. /p>Thank you for taking a look at this auction. This Customline is ready for you to finish. Much of the heavy lifting on the car has already been done. I will be selling at far less than what has been put into the car already. This is really a neat car. It has what I believe to be the original 272 Y-block motor. The odometer reads 40869. I have no reason to believe that this is not accurate. The car has sat for many years. The motor is running and the car does move on its own. Unfortunately that is about as far as I have gone. Much of the heavy lifting for redoing the car has already been done. I do have many pictures of the extensive work that went into the car during the process. The front suspension has been "bagged" and seems to work as it should. The rear suspension was dropped about 3 inches. Only the front was bagged. Works/looks cool. Can slam or lift with the buttons inside mounted nicely on the bottom of the dash. I have included pictures with the suspension up. will go higher. nbsp;and down. The handles and some of the chrome have been shaved. The rest of the chrome was redone but the bumpers might need to be done again soon. The fire wall has been nicely cleaned up and the engine looks nice as well. Although due for a good cleaning. The car does need a bit more to be completed but it won't take much to finish her up. Will need carpet and the seats redone. I have the original seats (yucky). or just put some in that are already done. There is body work left. not much but if you want it perfect. your choice. If your going for the rat rod look your good. Needs the exhaust on one side reattached and a bit of tuning. The driver and passenger door glass needs to be replaced. All of the glass is new but someone attempted to break into the car and cracked the door glass on both sides. Lots available here on ebay. The lights do work. The tires hold air but are dry rotted and would not be suitable for a road trip. Many new parts recently;Radiator. timing chain. oil changed. valve job. brake lines replaced or repaired as needed. master cylinder. etc. All done within the last six months or less. Very cool car. ready to be loved and enjoyed at a fraction of the cost of a complete resto. Please ask any questions before you bid. Thank you for looking.
