Description of 1983 Ford Mustang |
Here is an extremely rare survivor 1983 Mustang GT Convertible. Factory equipped with 5.0 4V and 5 speed Borg Warner transmission with traction-lock axle. One of only 1001 total U.S. and Canada production!! Polar white exterior and red interior with very rare white leather bucket seats. It is likely one of only a small handful still in existence and perhaps the only one with white leather as research shows they were only available with red or black leather! Options include: Power top, power front disc brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise, tilt, A/C, and alloy wheels. Brand new tires and new top motor just installed. Front windshield is cracked and it needs wiper blades. Still has the factory spare wheel in the trunk that has never been on the ground. This car is original paint with zero rust anywhere including the trunk and zero dings in it!! I can't even find a chip in it. It has some road tar on it I didn't take off yet in the pictures. The top does have 2 small tears but still functions well. The drivers seat bottom has separated on one seam but may be fixable. This car runs very strong with no smoke or noise and shifts, stops, and steers like new. With only 115400 miles on the clock it is very low mileage. This car is currently plated, registered, and insured with clear Oregon title. It was just driven from Oregon to Colorado with no issues. All lights, gauges, turn/brake signals, wipers, factory 7K tachometer, odometer, work correctly. The horn doesn't want to work. The radio is not installed currently but I have it and it works. Tail light lenses are extremely nice. The factory red carpet does have some fading but is in really good shape with no tears, wear spots, or cigarette burn holes. A good detailing will help the looks immensely. This was the top dog for Ford Mustang in 1983 and the first 5.0 and is an up and coming Rare and highly collectible car! Drive it anywhere.Located in Delta, CO 81416Current NADA LOW retail book price is $4,187 and this car is not a low retail car! |
