Description of 1965 Ford Galaxie

Vehicle Details

1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible.  Good driver and descent car to take to the car shows.  Three on the tree (manual transmission on the column).  Lots of fun to drive.  I'm including a few extra parts that I've picked up along the way.  Has new carpet.  Seats along with interior rear quarter panels were reupholstered.  I'm including 2 sets of matching floor mats.  Bench seats (front is adjustable). There's an aftermarket armrest/storage and cupholders to fit on front or rear bench seats.  Modern stereo is in the glove compartment so you can use bluetooth, USB, or radio.  This is not the original engine.  Has headers and dual, custom exhaust so the engine has a great sound.  I've owned this car for over 7 years.  It's a convertible and that's how I almost always drive it.  The top works but there's a tear in the back left of the fabric and, frankly, the fabric top  is getting old and worn.  This is a car that I love to drive around town a few times per year and occasionally to a car show.  Please understand, the car is 58 years old so don't expect perfection.  The exterior and interior look good. Has a small partial dent in back left of trunk....not noticeable in photos.  A couple rust bubbles under paint behind rear window (common with convertibles of this era).  Also common on these cars is the fact that dirt gets thrown up into space next to the gas tank and causes some rust on the tank...so the tank slowly drips a little if filled all the way full.  I'm including a new gas tank with the price of the car.  So you can just fill 3/4 tank with gas, like I do, or replace with the included tank.  I just don't have the interest in doing more projects right now.  Selling as is.  Really is a great car with a great look.  Long straight lines screams mid-60's!!  I can answer specific questions.
